Schedules and Hours Your Accountant Can Rely On.

Payroll goes wrong when the hours arrive late or incomplete. This part of Tabularium gathers schedules and the hours actually worked in one place, so an accounting firm can prepare a client's payroll, or work with the client's payroll company, from figures it can trust.

Who Uses It

The portals in detail: what managers and employees see

The Business

One place for the schedule, clocking in and out, and time off.

Employees

See their schedule, offer or swap a shift, clock in and out, and ask for time off, from an employee portal.

Managers

Approve shift changes themselves, or set rules that approve the routine ones.

The Accounting Firm

Receives the hours as a payroll batch. Staff build it, preview it, approve it and release it. A person takes each step.

How It Is Designed to Work

  1. The schedule is set and employees see it in the portal.
  2. Employees clock in and out. Shift offers, swaps and time off go through the same portal.
  3. The hours reach the accounting firm as a payroll batch, in the same layout every pay period for a given payroll company. If hours are missing, a reminder is drafted for a person at the firm to send.
  4. The firm approves and releases the batch for payroll.

This describes how the product is built. Today it runs on a development system with test data only. No business or firm is using it yet, and no payroll company is connected.

What It Does Not Do

It does not run payroll and it does not hold money. Payments stay with the accounting firm or the payroll company.

The books stay in the firm's accounting system.
